time to move on again

HA! Akhirnya liburan saya di Indonesia berakhir juga.. Tak terasa waktu berjalan cepat, 1bulan sudah lewat semenjak Desember yang lalu setelah 2tahun saya pergi meninggalkan Indonesia. Liburan yang sudah ditunggu-tunggu dan juga terasa sangat spesial karena liburan ini saya bisa merayakan 3even besar bersama keluarga, kerabat, dan sahabat...

Ulang Tahun ke 80 Engkong Tercinta, Sutedjo

Happy Birthday Kong! Di usia yang ke80, semoga Engkong tetap semangat menjalani kehidupan, meskipun kadang merasa sendirian dan kesepian, tapi Engkong nd sendirian, ada Tuhan yang selalu menjaga Engkong..


Natal 2011-Tahun baru 2012

Natal dan tahun baru kemarin ini saya merayakan bersama keluarga di GKI Tm.Majapahit, kebetulan Gaby Geboy, adik saya ini, mementaskan drama musikal berjudul Inn Keeper bersama teman-temannya. Berjumpa dengan wajah-wajah yang familiar memang menyenangkan. Serasa menjadi bintang film dadakan juga karena banyak orang menanyakan bermacam2 hal... Well yang paling penting ya bisa natalan bareng mami papi n Geboy, setelah sekian tahun.. #lebay

Tanggal 30 dan 31nya, kami ber4 memutuskan untuk berlibur ke Jogja, karena disamping tidak begitu jauh untuk tour yang tidak direncanakan, kebetulan keluarga Om Aris dari Singapore pas ada di Jogja juga, jadi sekalian bersilaturahmi dengan keluarga Om Aris..

Sepulangnya dari Jogja, kami langsung menuju ke Gardenia untuk merayakan tahun baru bersama keluarga Om Dede dan Miss Lusy, sayangnya lil ken ud tidur.... Anyway, it was fun to have gather like this... 


Last but not least was, my 25th Birthday

YEp! Ulang tahun saya yang ke 25 kali ini dapat saya rayakan di Indonesia, bersama keluarga..setelah kurang lebih, 4tahun juga saya tidak merayakan bersama mereka.. kalau dipikir2, memasuki usia ke 25 ini artinya sudah 24tahun saya berada di bumi ini.. resolusi apa kira2 yang saya miliki ya?? ah, saya simpan saja jawabannya untuk saya sendiri..dan sayalah juga yang akhirnya dapat membuktikan kepada diri saya sendiri... =) 


and when the parties and fun are all over, it's time for me to move again.. Only God know what lies in front of my journey.. and with the support of my family and my friends, I believe it won't be an impossible task to do..coz God makes the impossible possible..

Trolling from prison


An old Italian gentleman lived alone in New Jersey. He wanted to plan his annual tomato garden, but it was difficult work, as the ground was hard. His only son, Vincent, who used to helped him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament : 

Dear Vincent, I'm feeling pretty sad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my tomato garden this year. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. I know if you were here my troubles would be over. I know you would be happy to dig the plot for me, like in the old days. Love, Papa. 

A few days later he received a letter from his son.

Dear Papa, don't dig up that garden. That's where the bodies are buried. Love, Vinnie. 

At 4a.m the next morning, FBI agents and local police arrived and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left. That same day, the old man received another letter from his son.

Dear Papa, go ahead and plant the tomatoes now. That's the best I could do under the circumstances. Love you, Vinnie.

Hello, greeting from Shanghai!! 

Let's just lift a simple pray and express our thanksgiving to God that we are now in the end of the year 2011, which means that we are also soon going to be in the new year of 2012.

Ok, to the point saja, I've just made an account in instagram, the photography application in Iphone that allows people to stop the time and capture the moment with their phone and upload it to the community. They can be facebook, twitter, flickr, tumblr, posterus, foursquare, etc..(unfortunately I didn't see Blogger on it :| ) 

So, I think I just want to share the freezing time I captured with my phone..ummm, well, an amateur work for someone who just gets his new toy.. =P

Another hot raining day in Shanghai! Got to wake up at 4, prepare for Bank Mandiri catering in Pudong... then left from Bali Bistro at 6, yes, it was raining hardly this morning, yet it was hot.. Vitti texted me that today 'you wet you re' [ 又湿又热] and I just agreed... since me and my staff needed to bring all the catering stuff to 12th floor, it was even hotter... =.= 

We finished the catering around 3 anyway, thanks to the security staff who didn't allow us to go since we don't have the leaving authority paper which need to be issued by Bank Mandiri.. Their staff all went to have lunch, due to the soft opening of Bank Mandiri Shanghai Branch.. 

Anyway, I'm home already.. the sky outside is still grey, with the chance of raining and the hot temperature here.. It's Shanghai anyway, what do you expect man?

So, I just sit here having a cup of hot ginger tea while browsing the good movie to watch until Dela from Kaskus posted her last, that was Solanin... Brought to the movie version from the manga version, took me a while to search and to download it, which was success by the end of the evening..

Don't want to rush, I read the manga first.. The story of Meiko and Taneda, a couple who tried their best to make life goes on and everything is ok, soon to be broke up after Taneda's band #1 cover getting rejected in the record company..Left them in a conclusion that the band's over...and finally when Meiko heard what's the song is all about... it was a farewell song...

I haven't finished reading the manga, but I would be sure that this quite an interesting manga and movie..

Memasuki hari terakhir di bulan ini...rasanya saya sudah benar-benar kehilangan sentuhan untuk menulis.. (atau lebih tepatnya mengetik). Bulan-bulan ini memang menyibukkan tenaga dan pikiran, karena terbatasnya tenaga kerja di restoran tempat saya bekerja, berbagai aktifitas lain untuk sekedar hang out bareng temen pun jadi terbengkalai dan saya jadi seperti manusia anti-sosial.

Anyway, saya benar-benar merasa diberkati oleh Ms.Lusy, status-status or note di Facebooknya serasa memberikan penguatan ataupun juga pemikiran-pemikiran baru yang setidaknya memalingkan otak saya dari pekerjaan..

Belajar menjadi betul? Betul-betul salah satu pembelajaran yang gampang-gampang susah, ataupun susah-susah gampang. Belajar menjadi betul tidak bisa dipelajari hanya lewat teori dan sekolah. Terbentuk melalu serangkaian proses hidup... hampir sama dengan belajar hidup sepanjang hidup.. Masalahnya adalah bahwa definisi betul tiap-tiap individual dibentuk dari nilai atau value hidupnya masing-masing. Dibentuk dari pergaulan dan didikan yang didapat masing-masing. Dibentuk dari prinsip dan pola pikir masing-masing.

dan sepertinya saya juga mesti mengambil kelas belajar menjadi betul ini sekali lagi...dimulai dari diri sendiri dan berharap memberi dampak disekitar saya...

Greeting from Shanghai!!

Wah, ternyata sudah sebulan saya absen posting disini..haha..ok, I'm back...Di bulan Agustus -yang sudah mau lewat ini- ada 1 even besar untuk orang-orang Indonesia di Shanghai. Ya, perayaan 17 Agustus (yang dirayakan tanggal 21 Agustus, errr...) dengan tajuk Pesta Kampung 17an... Acara yang diselenggarakan oleh Inacham ini dihadiri oleh kurang lebih 250-an warga Indonesia di Shanghai, mulai dari warga senior, para pelaku bisnis, pekerja, dan juga pelajar.

Acaranya sendiri diadakan di Rendeszvous Hotel Shanghai, yang berlokasi di West Yan An Road. Berlangsung dengan menarik, acara Pesta kampung ini diramaikan oleh upacara bendera 17an, lomba bola pingpong, lomba joget, dress code terbaik, grand prize tiket Garuda pulang pergi Shanghai-Denpasar, dan yang tidak kalah penting, kuliner Indonesia mulai dari kolak pisang peneman buka puasa, kue talam dan wajik, semur daging, opor ayam, gado-gado, sampai udang balado, yang setidaknya diharapkan dapat menjadi obat tombo kangen bagi para warga Indonesia di Shanghai ini...
Sayangnya, saya belum bisa memasang foto-foto disini... yah, semoga nanti kalau sudah dapet mentahannya... bisa update di postingan lain...

Oya, dibulan ini saya juga inign mengucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Idul Fitri bagi teman-teman yang merayakan, mohon maaf lahir dan batin apabila ada kata-kata yang kurang berkenan diblog ini....
