Greeting from Shanghai!

Recently I saw some movies... and I like some words told by the character...Just want to share some...

Profesor: So do you think God is here, in this room?
Black: No, I don't...but I KNOW that HE is here...
(The Sunset Limited, Tommy Lee Jones - Samuel L.Jackson)

"Like I said, shrimp is the fruit if the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it, shrimp kabobs, creole, gumbo, pan fried, deep fried, stir fried... There is pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich.." (Bubba, Forest Gump)

"Everybody has their own destiny. I have destined to be your Mom. You have to find your own destiny" (Mama, Forest Gump)

"Life is like a box of chocolate. You'd never know what you will have" (Mama, Forest Gump)

"Promise is promise" (Forest, Forest Gump)

"When you'd be a shrimp boat captain, I will be your first mate. Here I am, I'm a man of words" (Lieutenant Dan, Forest Gump)

"For all that matters, the most important thing is the one who are in this room. Salute, for familia!" (Dom, Fast Five)

Humm...I think that is what I remember most..from those 3movies I saw.. hahaha....

Oke, no more update at this moment, but I just posted this from my new Aspire 1551... yeah, say goodbye to Nagabonar..who reached it limit...RIP nagabonar...

Just for share, this is my latest picture.. of course, yang paling authentic...

Greeting from Shanghai!! (from an authentic man)
a cup of bitter powder

Pak tua tertawa terbahak-bahak sambil berkata...

Count on Me
Salam olahraga!

Not bad untuk amatir seperti kami... haha.. (not badnya menurut saya, nd tau kalo menurut tamu lain gimana...)

Salah satu lagu favorit saya yang sering kami bawakan itu lagunya Bruno Mars yang judulnya Count On Me.. ini, saya share liriknya sekalian...

If you ever find yourself stuck in the middle of the sea
I'll sail the world to find you
If you ever find yourself lost in the dark and you can't see
I'll be the light to guide you

If you toss and then you turn and then you just can't fall asleep
I'll sing a song beside you
And if you ever forget how much you really mean to me
Everyday I will remind you

Find out what we're made of
What we are call to help our friend in need

You can count on me like one, two, three
I'll be there and I know when I need it
I can count on you like four, three, two
And you'll be there
Cause that's what friend are supposed to do oh yeah..

You'll always have my shoulder when you cry
I'll never let go never say goodbye...

This is quite a nice song..and think of it, it's just express how God's feel towards us.. (Loh? Kok mendadak English?) n belakangan saya sering merasa kalau saya memang bisa count on Him..(of course lah!) dan lirik 'You'll always have my shoulder when you cry - I'll never let go never say good bye' just made me feel blessed to have HIM as my Friend..

Nah sekarang pertanyaannya kalo gini, bisakah 'He count on us like four, three, two' ??

Sate? Sate Madura, sate blora, sate padang... Bahasa gaulnya, GA ADA ABISNYE!

Beberapa resep baru pertama kali saya temui setelah hampir 25 tahun lahir dan berwarga negara Indonesia..-bukan warga negara yang baik mungkin-.. Pecak Ikan dan Pucung Ikan.. Makanan khas betawi?

Bahan:
3 ekor ikan gurami
200g bawang merah giling
40g kunyit giling
75g jahe
75g kencur giling
75g kemiri
1l air
30g asam jawa
100g sereh giling
150g lengkuas giling
4lbr daun salam
150g gula jawa
100g cabe merah besar giling
1l minyak goreng
Garam secukupnya

method:
1. Semua bumbu dapur dilumatkan dengan blender sampai halus

selanjutnya? terserah anda...

Lonestar where are you out tonight?
This feeling I'm trying to fight
It's dark and I think that I would give anything
For yout o shine down on me

How far you are I just don't know
The distance I'm willing to go
I pick up a stone that I cast to the sky
Hoping for some kind of sign

momentum
Fiuh, after a full 2weeks, akhirnya saya bisa sedikit rehat sejenak, meskipun ga lama-lama juga sih sebenernya...

Intinya begitulah..

Well actually it would be great to be able to meet her..haha..

(noted: there's a slight difference between giving up and realizing that you had enough)

The best and the most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, but are felt in the heart..

That is written on my notebook I bought in the beginning of this year in People Square... I just didn't realize what's written on it until I re-read it again during my day to day Chinese lesson.. Anyway, I'm doing fine here but still the weather just don't love me that much.. still have to thanks God that I'm in Shanghai.. Feel deeply sad to know about the earthquake in Japan but glad to hear all people I know there are all safe...

well a lot of things going on here which me myself couldn't describe it clearly..what's going on here? time flies so fast and people just come and go...moreover that those things to be felt in the heart, I couldn't really feel it.. [or maybe I just miss my old fellows n old feelings....]

Just a little biT
Some introduction about China...fact that I get from my Chinese lesson :
  1. China population is about 1300 million people, the biggest population in the world.
  2. China has about 960km square area, almost the same with Europe.
  3. China has 23 province, 5 Autonomous Region, 4 Municipalities, 2 Special Administrative Regions. Beijing is the capital city of China.
  4. China has 56tribes. Besides The Han, there are The Hui, Tibetan, Mongolian, and 55 others small tribes.
  5. Yangtse River and Yellow river are two biggest river in China. Yangtse River's length is about 6300km while Yellow River's is about 5600km.
  6. The North East of China, Heilongjiang Province, during the winter time could reach its air temperature of minus 40degrees Celsius. While the north-est place in China, Hainan Island, the average temperature of around 25degrees Celsius.
  7. The east of China and the west of China covers more than 5000km. When the sun rises from the east part of China, its west part is still covered by dusk.
and the worse is that it's written on Chinese.. Fact that the 2nd book has no more pinyin on the text forces my brain to work harder... OK, go intermediate man!

An interesting breakfast I had this morning was a '鸡蛋饼' (Ji Dan Bing) with '油条' (You Tiao), a traditional Shanghai food with kind of Cakwee...only for 3.50 RMB, and grab a small
box of Chocolate milk for 3.80RMB, costs me total of 7.30RMB and keep me away from hunger until 2.30pm... NICE! Will have it for another day then.. (",) Well, reservation goes crazy, time for reality now..oyeah, IT'S FUN TIME!!! Ciao!

Greeting from Bali Bistro!

I'm still here
Wow.. it's been a while that I didn't really...posting... thought I lost my touch..well, I really never have one I think..anyway, yeah, im still here..

OkeLah, for the first in February, even it's a bit -not that bit,actually- late, let me say Happy Chinese New Year, Happy Valentine Day, and Happy Lantern Festival! This rabbit year hopefully will bring more luck and prosperity, in every aspect of our life!

Second thing is...I'm most likely getting used to enjoy this endless winter..geez...it's cold... One of my friend asked me if I want some Valentine gift what that would be, so I said 'wishing that the winter would end up soon'

Third one, we are (Bali Bistro) expecting the March to come with our Ayam Penyet promotion! ah, I think I'll save the detail for later... basically it's like eating spicy contest.. Trying to finish it in 8minutes or so..

Anyway, working time! Typing lateR!
-still have to struggle since the air-co in the restaurant is having some problem with the hot air...ouch!-

Helo my friend!

I have received your greeting card! Thanks for it! I wonder how you know my exact address here.. haha..did I tell you? or maybe you searched it on the internet...There are a lot of things I wished to tell and a lot of things I want to share..but I think I'll just keep it for now..or maybe I can share it here? ahaha, But it will be too long though..

Shanghai is so cold now and this week will hit 3below 0. But I think it's not as cold as there.. Good to see snow ya, where all are just plain white stuff and so..haha.. How is your study? Keep fighting, you are smart and I believe you are doing your best now...and even you are in some difficulties, you just now who to rely on.. Remember? When God put you into it, He will put you through it?^^ yeah, it would be nice if we can have a chit-chatting or even a conversation..

Anyway, thanks for your wishes.. Being light and salt wherever I'm placed eh? then I believe you will also be those one.. You were ever since, you are, and you will be always toward everybody surrounds you..

Have a great life there, my friend! Until we meet again...(",)
God Bless you abundantly!

Your friend,
Okky Hidayat
